Behind The Space Elevator Program –Sofia Davidson

PUBLICATION DATE: January 20, 2063
FORMAT: E Book
EXTENT: 336
CATEGORY: Science, Astronomy

The day the first space elevator became operational, 24 November 2062, has been a red letter on the timeline of NASA’s history. It was not until the 2040s that materials for a practical, full length cable became technically feasible with the required tensile strength of 130 gigapascals. Even then design challenges persisted. Inspite of all the difficulties, the 2062 Space Elevator Program has become successful. This book deals with all the questions the people might have regarding what went into making this program a success.

“ A good book that can give you a glimpse of the world without requiring years of study.” - The Guardian.
