TOUCH AND GO by Sally Chance Dance | Australia
(ages 2 to 3 and their grown-ups)
Duration – 55 minutes

Touch and Go entices, dares and entertains children in a playful environment. A two-year-old child will enter a wonderful world of shapes and pathways, stepping stones and lines, with two friendly dancers and a live guitarist. Along the way, children are enticed to become part of the performance. They are free to take part or observe, venture out or stay close, touch and go - just as they need to.

Touch & Go originated out of City of Melbourne and ArtPlay’s New Ideas Lab Initiative

Sally and her company explore the cultural lives of babies and very young children through dance, using processes of collaboration and co-creation to discover new performance forms. Our goal is that children experience our performances as a meeting point, taking part as they wish by viewing the performance or by coming up close to the action to be involved. in this way we work with a philosophy that says: “I see you seeing me”.
