ARTS FOR JUNIORS 2023
Arts For Juniors, in association with Goethe-Insitute / Max Mueller Bhavan Kolkata, is an initiative for children to engage with, discover and explore the world of art, music and books through a range of diverse, exciting activities.
These sessions are designed not to ‘teach an art form’ but to acquaint children with different artists and authors, share their inspirations and in the process spark imagination and encourage the participants to explore their own creativity. ARTS FOR JUNIORS 2023

Feedback from Parents:
"My son wrote some interesting comments on the classical musical pieces. I for one found them fresh and uncluttered by awe. He seems to have responded to the music enough to have noted the changes in the mood and tone. Thank you for that." "Many thanks for introducing such a beautiful concept. Very well organized session. So glad that he was able to join. Look forward to the next session" "As a parent I was impressed with how Western classical music was made accessible and impressionable to young minds, with audio visual story telling format, interspersed with ear training through select pieces. It's a great session designed as an entry point for children to open their minds to great art." "We have been going to several sessions organized by other institutes in Calcutta for my son's age group and some of them are also quite good, but what sets Think Arts apart from the others are the excellent choice of topics that appeals to the young minds. Instead of sticking to the usual time-tested subjects you try to go beyond the ordinary and touch on those aspects of the child’s brain which helps to kindle his imagination process and might ignite the passion for a particular interest." "[My son] has learnt about eminent painters, writers, musicians. Their works and how to read paintings. His thought process on drawings and paintings, his imaginations have become much wider and innovative." "The sessions were presented really well - the way the children were introduced to different musicians, artists and writers, the fact that they could express themselves, that there were so many activities related to the topics and that they could think out of the box. The children learn to think creatively and they learn to be innovative." |
