The Early Years' Theatre Lab

was a lab which consisted of two phases, a series of four masterclasses conducted by ThinkArts in collaboration with FRATZ International 2024, with Sananda Mukhopadhyaya providing the mentorship, and thereafter a specialised period of mentorship for two EYT practitioners. They would then go on to Berlin to present their pieces at the FRATZ International Festival.  

Phase 1

A series of 4 online master classes facilitated by Sananda Mukhopadhyaya, between June - August, 2024.

11th June, Tuesday 6 pm to 7:30 pm IST

9th July, Tuesday 6 pm to 8 pm IST
13th August, Tuesday 6 pm to 8 pm IST

Phase 2

Two participants were selected to create solo performances for the very young under the mentorship of Sananda Mukhopadhyaya (mid-August to mid-October). 

Sidharth Varma and Swapnika Reddy then travelled to FRATZ in Berlin for a showcase and post-show discussion.
