FRATZ Collaboration with ThinkArts
Early Years Theatre Lab and Masterclass
Phase 1: A series of 4 online masterclasses on Early Years Theatre were facilitated by Sananda Mukhopadhyaya. We had 35 artists from across India joining us for the sessions! Phase 2: Two participants were selected to create solo performances for the very young under the mentorship of Sananda (mid-August to mid-October). Congratulations to Swapnika and Sidharth! |
Hanv Ghara Asa [I am Home]
ThinkArts helped select the performance for the very young produced in India to be showcased at FRATZ International: Encounters - Symposium - Festival for the very young. Hanv Ghara Asa [I am home], which will perform at FRATZ 2024, is produced by Spinning Stories based in Goa and was commissioned by Serendipity Arts Festival, Goa, India (2019). |
ThinkArts has a long-established relationship with FRATZ International. Vera Strobel, Artistic Director, Theater o.N., FRATZ International and Berlin Schaufenster was one of the speakers at Engage: International Forum on the Arts for Children and Young People, an online forum presented by ThinkArts in association with Goethe-Institut/Max Mueller Bhavan Kolkata in November 2020. In 2024, the collaboration between FRATZ International and ThinkArts went bigger with two aspects to it, the Early Years Theatre Masterclass, a space for professionals working in the space for 0-6 years, and curating Hanv Ghara Asa for FRATZ International 2024 as part of the Indian selection for the festival.
