In October 2017, Michael Lurse & Marko Werner from Helios Theater, Germany visited India with a 4 city tour of their show, Woodbeat. They also worked with two artists from India, to create Kaath, an Indian version of the show. The making of Kaath has been supported by the Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan.
The original show, Woodbeat was created as a co-production by HELIOS Theater, Hamm & Théâtre Jeune Public, Strasbourg under the direction of Barbara Kölling.
